Mead & Hunt, an award-winning national architecture and engineering firm, has continued to exceed our strategic growth initiatives creating opportunity for our current and prospective team members. As a result, a full-time position is available for an architecture project manager. This manager would lead project teams focused on architecture, engineering, and planning services for our aviation and federal defense clients. This opportunity is available in San Diego, CA; Los Angeles, CA; Sacramento, CA; or Windsor, CA.

Responsibilities include leading project teams on small to large projects; developing scopes, fees, contracts and subcontracts; tracking and monitoring scopes, schedules, budgets and fees scheduling and facilitating team and client meetings; building new and maintaining current client relationships; supporting market leaders in strategically expanding business opportunities with aviation clients and federal agencies; developing and delivering presentations to clients. As a national practice, this position is expected to travel up to 50%.

The successful candidate must have the following:

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in architecture from an accredited college or university or degree in a field relevant to leading building projects
• Valid Driver's License

AND

• At least 7 years of relevant experience of which two must be at the project manager level

OR, if no degree

• At least 11 years of relevant experience of which two must be at the project manager level

The ideal candidate will have any/ all of the following:

• Experience in managing aviation and/or federal defense projects
• Experience in managing interdisciplinary project teams on small to large complex projects from proposal stage through project closeout
• Business development experience - seeking out and following through on new project opportunities in coordination with a team
• Architecture or related field current license in any state with ability to obtain additional licensures via NCARB certification or otherwise
• PMP-Certified
• LEED AP, WELL Accredited Professional, or Guiding Principles Compliance Professional

Salary Range: $120,000 to $140,000 - Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
