Purpose: 
Under direct supervision of the Associate Director at the Erb Institute, the Marketing and Communications Coordinator is responsible for the management, performance, and completion of marketing, communications, and other institute projects and activities. The person in this role is responsible for coordinating the activities of a project team, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedules to ensure the timely completion of the project. This person must be familiar with project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, to effectively coordinate the activities of the team.


This role is part time (50%) and two-year term limited, with the possibility to be extended. The role is hybrid with on-site expectations in Ann Arbor, MI. Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. Learn more about the work modes.

Additional Information

The posting range for this position is $24,850-$29,150. This posting range reflects multiple factors involved in determining compensation, such as skills, experience, training, certifications, and other organizational needs. At Ross, it is not common for new hires to be offered a salary at the upper end of the range. Compensation decisions are based on the details of each situation.
