Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
As a leader of the Pre Award team, you will present proposal status metrics, issues, and reviews to ARLIS Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and incorporate and adjudicate feedback. You will also lead, build, and maintain formal networks involving coordination among many groups.

- Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience:
- 10 years of relevant experience with federal proposal management involving leading large teams through the full life cycle of complex, strategic proposals comprised of multiple volumes, including sample task orders and intricate cost requirements, such as Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and/or at an institution of higher education.
- Demonstrated experience capturing prime opportunities more than $100M.
- Experience with DoD and Federal Government acquisition and/or at an institution of higher education.
- Experience with grant proposals.
- Prior experience directly supervising staff.
- Prior experience working in highly collaborative, dynamic, matrixed environments.
- Additional education and/or professional certifications can be considered in place of some experience.
- Ability to work in a high-paced work environment supporting multiple proposals simultaneously, and meeting tight deadlines including occasional extended hours, evenings/night hours, weekends, and holidays.
- Skilled collaborator with a history of maintaining successful relationships internally and externally.
- Be a trusted advisor to the clients and the business development team, acting in a consultative manner.
- Working knowledge of OMB Uniform Guidance and the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
- Demonstrated coaching and mentoring skills.
- Excellent skills in creating and maintaining spreadsheets in MS Excel in addition to good general computer skills with experience with word processing and web search applications.
- Ability to work with ambiguity.
Applicants must be able to obtain a Top-Secret security clearance. If selected, you must meet the requirements for access to classified information and will be subject to a government security clearance investigation that includes criminal and credit history checks, as well as verification of U.S. citizenship, birth, education, employment, and military history.
Preferences:
- Professional Project Management (PMP) certification.
- Detailed knowledge of OMB Uniform Guidance and the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
- Experience with using Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Active TS/SCI Clearance.
