We are hiring a Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) Engineer in San Diego, CA.
What you'll do:
As an Endpoint Systems Desktop Engineer on our team, you have the chance to shape the Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) solution by leading engineering and design for Windows Endpoint devices including Desktop and Laptop hardware. Daily tasks will include:
- PowerShell automation.
- Automated application installation packages.
What you'll need:
- Education: BS/BA 8 years, or MS/MA 6 years, or PHD 3 years. HS Diploma and 12 years experience In lieu of degree
- 5+ years of experience building, customizing, and deploying operating systems for Windows 10 and 11 Endpoints.
- 5+ years of experience developing desktop deployment task sequences using desktop deployment tools, including Microsoft SCCM/MECM or Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT).
- 5+ years of experience with PowerShell scripting.
- 5+ years of experience working in large enterprise operations environments, including the identification, development, analysis, scheduling, and managing of enterprise IT activities, solutions and risk mitigations, artifacts, and migrations.
- Knowledge of desktop OS deployment and imaging tools, drivers, application installs, OS patching, and feature updates.
- Knowledge of built-in Microsoft desktop technologies, including BitLocker, Credential Guard, WSL, or Windows Hello for Business.
- Clearance: active Secret Clearance
- DoD 8570.11- IAT Level II Certification, (e.g. Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, or SSCP) in addition to Operating Environment (OE) certification for Microsoft Platforms/Solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience applying systems engineering fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments.
- Experience with enterprise server, storage, networking, software, and application services or equivalent depth in a single solution platform.
- Experience collaborating with other enterprise technologists both internally and externally to resolve complex technical issues.
- Experience supporting and coordinating across senior-level organizations.
- Experience mentoring junior team members.
- Experience with cloud-based technology.
- Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or Engineering.
- CASP+ or CISSP Certification.
- Microsoft Certifications AZ-900 and/or AZ-104.
