The Enterprise Data & Analytics team in the Office of Information Technology is seeking a skilled and motivated Business Intelligence Professional to join our team. This role focuses on designing and maintaining efficient data workflows, creating actionable dashboards, and empowering stakeholders with reliable, data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and update data queries to support reports and dashboards.
  • Troubleshoot and enhance the performance of BI reports and dashboards for both team and customer use.
  • Provide consultative assistance to users in implementing and utilizing the organization’s suite of BI tools effectively.
  • Create and maintain Business Intelligence portals with customer and application-specific content.
  • Develop, test, and deploy ETL jobs to support reporting structures/solutions.

This is a three year limited-term position ending January 31, 2028.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Three to four years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • A strong understanding of structured and object-oriented programming concepts or relational database design, including data modeling, normalization, and integration.
  • Proficiency in Tableau or other Business Intelligence tools.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships across a variety of disciplines.
  • Creative problem-solving mindset with the ability to conceive and implement innovative solutions, combining information in standardized and novel ways.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences and foster collaboration across teams.
  • Proven ability to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements by collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and project objectives.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
