Job Description

The University of Alaska Fairbanks invites applications for a term instructor, non-tenure track position to teach courses in Accounting. The position is expected to start in August 2025. Minimum Qualifications:

An earned Master of Accountancy, Master of Business Administration in Accounting, or Master of Science in Accounting is preferred; Bachelor of Accountancy, BA in Accounting, BS in Accounting, or BBA in Accounting is sufficient if enrolled in a MAcc, MBA, or MSA program. A CPA is preferred.

Three years of accounting industry experience required, five years preferred.

Position Details:

This position is located on the Troth Yedha' campus in Fairbanks. This is a full-time, 9-month, non-tenure track faculty position, complete with both competitive salary and full employee benefits package. UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed at the UNAC Grade 40 salary structure. Salary is dependent upon education and experience.
