We are currently recruiting for internships located at our office in San Diego, CA (EUV laser source creation).

This BTTF Scanner Sim (SCS) Upgrade Summer Intern will be responsible for working directly with the Scanner Sim (SCS) Main Deliverable Owner (MDO) to Document, Build, Test, and Debug the SICSv2 (Dose Control) and SICSv3 (Computer System) Upgrades.

You will work with the Bench Top Task Force (BTTF) team as you Upgrade SCS's in response to the Upgrade Roadmap.

Role and Responsibilities

Ability to understand Builds of Materials (BOMs) Ability to read Cable Overviews (COs) Capable of building and testing mechanical test equipment Understand hardware interfaces and various communication protocols (TCP/IP, Ethercat) Conform to the approved BTTF Way of Working

Education and Experience

  • Requires Minimum of at least 2 years completed in pursuit of BS in Computer Science, or other related Engineering or Science fields.

  • Previous experience in a Technical Development role is a plus

  • Experience in leadership or designing software for a complex multi-processor distributed control system is a plus

  • The environment generally is moderate in temperature and noise level.

  • Extended periods of time in a clean room environment should be expected. Requires gowning in Class 10K gowning protocol.

  • May need to work in labs with equipment that emit high-pitched noise.

  • May spend extended periods of time at a computer workstation.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. * 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
