The Benefactor Liaison collaborates with department leadership and peers, The Foundation, as well as Benefactors to Scripps Health, physicians, specialists and ancillary staff in the planning, organizing, coordinating, and executing of all functions and activities associated with the Benefactor Program. Areas of practice are highly multidisciplinary and multi-faceted; open, frequent, and responsive communication is consistently required to meet the grateful patient needs. The Benefactor Liaison serves as the key point of contact within the health care system for program donors to ensure timely access to a variety of health care programs and services.

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
- Undergraduate degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two years fund-raising or related volunteer and professional experience, preferably in a medical setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with varied constituencies, including volunteers, physicians, patients and donors.
- Excellent writing and verbal skills.
- Computer proficiency, including expertise in Word, Excel and with databases.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment.
- Creative, self-starting, results-oriented and committed to working as part of a team enterprise.
- Ability to organize time effectively and manage a large number of tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
- CA RN.
- Two years fund-raising or related volunteer and professional experience in a medical setting.
