Learning Skills, Part-Time Instructors


Hartnell College is currently accepting applications to establish a pool of qualified applicants to teach in-person assignments in the discipline.  The department is actively recruiting.   

 

Supplemental Information

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Any master’s degree level discipline in which learning assistance or tutoring is provided at the college where the coordinator is employed;
  • OR A master’s degree in education, educational psychology, or instructional psychology, or other master’s degree with emphasis in adult learning theory

 

(NOTE: Minimum qualifications do not apply to tutoring or learning assistance for which no apportionment is claimed.)


The Equivalency Committee will consider only those applicants who formally request equivalency consideration by submitting the Completed Equivalency Request Form (Download PDF reader) with their application. Be sure to attach detailed evidence, such as unofficial transcripts and/or other certifications that support the equivalency.

All coursework must be from a regionally accredited college or university. Note: Transcripts for degrees earned outside the U.S. must be accompanied by an evaluation from an approved NACES service verifying that the degree is equivalent to the U.S. degree.
