If you are graduating with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and want to work in spacecraft power electronics, we’d love to have you join our team!
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to help us develop power converters and analog electronics. You will contribute to missions like Dragonfly and IMAP. You will join a hardworking team of engineers that conceive, develop, test, launch and fly spacecraft power components and systems. As a member of our Spacecraft Power Engineering Group...
- Your primary responsibility will be to analyze, test and deliver analog power electronics.
- You will work with senior staff to learn to design and test flight hardware
- You will develop analysis and simulation skills
The mission is to design, test, and deliver reliable spacecraft power systems for APL’s space sector and broader space community that enable the tools to expand our knowledge of the universe. Qualifications
You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you...
- Graduating with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Are skilled in and/or have knowledge of analog or DC/DC converter design.
- Are able to ultimately obtain a Secret security clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.
