Salary Range H: $70.32 hourly to start. Full Range: $146,257 - 221,227 annually

Reports To: Chief Financial Officer

Position Status: Full Time, Exempt

 

As the Director of Development, you will be responsible for the oversight and supervision of the Development department. Part of this work will include identifying redevelopment sites and property acquisition opportunities, securing financing, developing partnerships with local funding providers, developers, and community non-profit agencies, coordinating and representing HASCO at community engagement activities, and overseeing construction activities. In addition, this role oversees the preparation of the agency’s annual capital budget and Capital Improvement Plan, as well as the analyzing/reviewing budgetary and financial data. To thrive in this role, you’ll need skill in organizing and managing a significant flow of information, the ability to prepare contracts and budgets, understanding federal and local occupancy policies, along with the ability to present and maintain a professional demeanor while potentially under pressure.

As the Director of Development, you will learn how HASCO’s mission and work supports affordable housing opportunities across the community and you will help build up HASCO’s capacity to house more people.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to regularly sit, talk and/or hear. The employee will constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must also occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision and color vision.

Work may partially be performed at the main office in Everett, WA, remotely, or at work sites and in occupied apartment units. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently inspect projects and may be exposed to ongoing construction and various weather conditions. The noise level may range from moderate to loud. Safety equipment such as a hard hat or goggles may be worn. The employee may drive a vehicle to and from work sites in a variety of weather conditions.
