Job Description
Postdoctoral research fellow to study Precambrian Earth-life system. The postdoctoral research fellow will lead independent research projects on the evolution of Precambrian Earth-life system, including but not limited to field investigation, light and electron microscopy, stable isotope and trace element geochemical analysis, quantitative analysis, numerical modeling, data interpretation, and manuscript preparation. The successful candidate will also participate in mentoring graduate and undergraduate students, managing a paleontology lab, and other appropriate duties relevant to career advancement.
Required Qualifications
PhD in geosciences, organismal biology, or a related field.
PhD awarded no more than four years prior to the effective date of appointment with a minimum of one year eligibility remaining.

- Motivation to be a successful researcher;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Experience in field work, microscopy, quantitative analysis, and/or numerical modeling;
