Assistant/Associate Professor of Accounting/Finance
Job Description
Teach undergraduate students accounting courses and undergraduate and graduate students finance courses, in class and online. Teaching focus should include introductory, managerial, and financial accounting and finance.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Teaching and advising
- Participate on university service and committees
- Research and professional development
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Students, student workers, and possibly student organizations.
Education and Experience:
- PhD. or D.B.A of equivalent terminal degree or ABD with completion date of Spring 2025 from a regionally accredited university preferred.
- CPA - desired.
- Candidates with master's degree in accounting, or business-related discipline acceptable.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Demonstrated record of outstanding teaching effectiveness. Preferred.
- Demonstrated record of high quality intellectual and scholarly activity. Preferred.
- Related industry or consulting experience. Desired.
- Professional certifications, (CPA, CMA, CIA). Desired.
