The Bair Foundation, a leading treatment foster care agency, is in search of candidates for a Quality Coordinator.

OVERVIEW:
Responsible for ensuring compliance related to The Bair Foundation standards. State-specific contracts, regulatory requirements and the Council on Accreditation by providing initial and ongoing training and conducting file reviews.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Being knowledgeable in the EHR system including understanding workflow reports and state-specific documentation. This includes recognizing when the system is not being used correctly and implementing a plan to make corrections when needed.
- Understanding job duties within the designated office and how it relates to maintaining compliance and operations of the EHR.
- Collaborating with Vice Presidents, State Directors, and local Directors to provide initial training and continuing education, onsite and remotely while delivering ongoing support to staff.
- Managing revisions made to standards/regulations recognize how changes impact the EHR system and assist State Directors in the implementation of needed changes in collaboration with the Director of Social Service and Informatics.
- Reviewing all program client, family and personnel files for compliance with TBF policy & procedures, contract, regulatory requirements, and COA standards.
- Maintaining open communication with director and staff regarding review findings and provide consultation throughout the correction process.
- Facilitating quarterly PQI office meetings and assist in developing Performance Improvement Plans to address deficiencies.
- Submitting finalized reports to the Director of Program Standard.
- Being trained and knowledgeable in The Bair Foundation’s model of care.
- Acting as Compliance Officer for the Medicaid program in Ohio by monitoring regulations regarding mental health, if applicable.
- Responsibility for HIPAA compliance where applicable. Monitors records and clinical functions for conformity to regulations. Coordinates with the HIPAA officer to ensure compliance.JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- A working knowledge of the foster care/child welfare system.
