Job Description

We are looking for a Quality Assurance/Test Specialistwith a Secret clearance or higher to join our Naval Surface Warfare Center Team!

As a Quality Assurance/Test Specialist, you will:

  • Act as the overall Quality Assurance and Test and Evaluation (T&E) lead by performing technical and administrative management of inspection and testing on multiple projects

A week in the life of a Quality Assurance/Test Specialist:

  • Analyze requirements to define test methods that support evaluation of project suitability and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate project test planning with Government activities to minimize program schedule impact.
  • Conduct testing in accordance with Government policies and procedures.
  • Generate report documentation that provides the Government with required information to assess project development status.
  • Maintain access to and proficiency with Government/Contractor enterprise applications required for testing and/or function as data repositories.
  • Ensure our QMS (ISO 2700:2013 Quality Management System) is applied to all our test plan development and performance requirements.
  • Participate in all planning and review meetings to include, Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), and Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs).
Job Requirements
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
  • Five (5) years' experience in Defense acquisition and/or system test and evaluation
  • BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science or related scientific or technical discipline
  • Experience in coordinating test & evaluation of developmental and demonstration programs in a Defense organization with rapid acquisition

Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
