Job Description
Join a dynamic and diverse team supporting the military as part of your day to day duties. We are seeking a reliable and hard-working Laborer Ship Provisioning to join our team in San Diego. This position plays a crucial role in the successful operation of provisioning ships with necessary supplies and equipment for their missions.
Our Laborer position participates in the Ability One program; allowing individuals with significant disabilities to work in various positions within our Government Contracted positions.

Responsibilities:
1. Assist with loading and unloading provisions unto various naval ships.
2. Ensure accurate counting and recording of all incoming and outgoing items.
3. Sort, organize, and label supplies and equipment in designated storage areas.
4. Pack and secure supplies for safe transportation.
5. Prepare orders and validate accuracy against shipping instructions and documentation.
6. Conduct inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels and assist with inventory management.
7. Complete and maintain paperwork and records related to shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
9. Follow proper safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
10. Collaborate with team members and management to ensure a smooth operation.
11. Provide assistance in other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
2. Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
3. Physical fitness and capability to lift and move heavy objects up to 60lbs.
5. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
8. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members..
9. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Forklift certification or experience operating a forklift.
2. Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to warehousing operations.
3. Experience working in a military or naval environment.
