Adjunct – English – To teach in Pleasant Valley High School for the 2024-2025 School Year

Please apply here for an immediate opening. NCC is looking to hire an adjunct English professor to teach one section of English 101 (composition) in the fall and one section of English 151L (literature) in the spring at Pleasant Valley High School. This position allows dual-enrollment students to complete high school graduation requirements while completing college level English courses. Applicant must be available to teach this course in person on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between mid-morning and early afternoon. Summary:
Credit part-time, adjunct faculty teaching positions in English. Immediate availability for English position in Pleasant Valley High School teaching dual-enrollment students.
 
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in discipline or related field from a regionally accredited Institution required. High school teaching experience preferred.
 
Special Instructions:
If selected as a possible candidate by the hiring committee, applicants are expected to complete an online interview, followed by a teaching demonstration with the committee. If hired, official transcripts will be required from all undergraduate and graduate universities attended before a contract is issued.
